Love is in the air, Portland! Neighborhood businesses show love for their communities all year long. They provide more local jobs for our neighbors and donate to local causes at more than twice the rate of national chains. Now is the perfect time to show some love to local businesses while you shop and dine with your special someone. Here are just a few highlights being offered around the City.

  • Alberta: Send a Valentine’s card to your special someone! Collage PDX has a wide selection of cards from local artists.
  • Beaumont: Shop for beautiful gifts, home decor, women’s clothing, and jewelry at The Arrangement. They are known for having the best greeting card selection in Portland.
  • Foster: New Foster-area restaurant and wine bar, Street Disco will offer a Valentine’s Day special of Cote de Boeuf or Cacciucco for two. The set price includes “2 sides, plenty of fun add-ons, wine or zero-proof cocktail pairings, and some fun surprises.” Reservations required.
  • Gateway: McTavish Shortbread has all the sweets and treats you need for Valentine’s Day and all year round. They have been based in Portland for more than 30 years!
  • Lents: Frame that perfect picture of you and your loved one. The pros at Portland Creative Framing can help get the job done. Or, for something sweet, Bella’s Italian Bakery has a bit of everything to satisfy your craving. 
  • Lloyd: Creo Chocolate is known for their handcrafted and delectable treats. They offer award-winning, small-batch chocolate to savor and share.
  • Midway: Wild Brewz coffee stand has some fun and festive February specials on the menu! Celebrate your sweetheart (and sweet tooth) with a Strawberry Truffle Mocha and get passionate with their Raspberry Lemonade Passion Tea. 
  • Mississippi Ave: For dinner,  Stem Wine Bar will host romantic 4-course French (with Vietnamese touches) Valentine’s Day dinners for two. 
  • Montavilla: Wine and dine your loved one! Reserve a table at Vino Veritas and receive two desserts, plus enjoy live music and specials on wine and champagne. 
  • Multnomah Village: For gifts, Peach Tree Gifts is stocked up for Valentine’s Day with bath bombs, puzzles, stuffies, socks, candy, and classroom Valentine’s cards.
  • Parkrose: Couldn’t snag a reservation at your favorite restaurant? Grocery Outlet has a wide selection of wines to pair with a romantic dinner at home.
  • St. Johns: Rockabilly Cafe will offer several dinner specials for 2 (Surf and Turf with an 8oz Angus Grass-fed Steak and Jumbo Shrimp, and a Stuffed Pork Loin Dinner), and also the elegant songstress, Lynn Ross will be performing classic standards from the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
  • Williams District: For sweets everyone will enjoy, visit Jinju Patisserie and get amazing treats from an award-winning chocolatier and pastry chef duo.
