Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 16th, and Portland will be abuzz with summertime vibes and bustling business districts! On this day each year we honor fathers, as well as fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. This week, make Dad proud by supporting small businesses and your local business districts with your hard-earned dollars!
- 82nd: Springwater Cart Park is one of the best food card pods in all of the city! Grab some grub and have some fun with Dad amidst 30 food carts, the Crystal Guide rock shop, TBB’s Tap House, and a beer garden with outdoor seating.
- Beaumont: If Dad is a Phish fan, loves bluegrass and brews, Tomorrow’s Verse Taproom is a fantastic place to bring him. They host a bluegrass jam each Tuesday and other community events throughout the week.
- Central Eastside: Scotch Lodge is a fantastic bar and restaurant that has the whiskey crowd buzzing! The low lighting, high-backed leather seats, a menu sure to get anyone drooling, and an impressive whiskey menu.
- Foster: With the summer season nearly here, Foster Outdoor is the perfect place to get something special for Dad. Does he like being on the water? Foster Outdoor has inflatable paddleboards for purchase AND rent. Is he more of a “sit in the woods and chill” kind of dad? Maybe a new camping chair.
