Established in the Philippines, Filipino Food Month is celebrated every April to honor Filipino cuisine’s robust history and diversity. April was designated Filipino Food Month to appreciate and preserve Filipino culinary heritage and the farmers and fishermen who make it all possible.   • Alberta: Filipino culture prides itself on hospitality and community, and that is what they strive for at Baon Kainan. This food cart’s name was chosen because the expression means kindness and love that you can take with you and nourish you on your journey.
  • Central Eastside: Every dish on the menu at Makulít food cart seems to be a challenge rooted in balance: How can chefs Castillo and Bautista infuse fast food staples with Filipino flavors, which most of their clientele have never tasted? They succeed at every attempt, try it for yourself.
  • Division / Clinton: Magna Kusina is an experience you don’t want to miss! Specializing in Filipino street food and modern takes on traditional dishes, Chef Carlo was nominated for a James Beard award in 2022. This is a must-try!
  • Foster: For over a decade, Tambayan Restaurant has been a beloved mainstay in Portland.
