May is Asian Pacific American Heritage month and there are plenty of ways to celebrate in Portland. Asian and Pacific Americans helped put Portland on the map, contributing to the city’s rich history and culture since its founding. Today, Portland’s Asian and Pacific American-owned businesses are numerous and business districts like 82nd Avenue of Roses, Jade District and Old Town are crucial to Portland’s prosperity. Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by supporting Asian and Pacific American-owned businesses in your neighborhood and beyond.

82nd Avenue/Jade District: Mojo Crepes is serving ice cream crepes and bubble tea for pick-up. Pho Hung is serving Vietnamese cuisine for pick-up or delivery. Gateway Area: Shaman Cannabis is offering flower, edibles and extracts for pick-up. Lily Market is one of the largest Thai Markets in the Northwest and is open 10am-8pm daily. Namaste Indian Bazaar is serving Indian cuisine for pick-up or delivery.

NE Broadway: Shandong is celebrating their 10th year with family-style Chinese dishes available for pick-up or delivery. Coco Donuts is serving donuts and coffee for pick-up, grab-and-go and delivery.

Montavilla: Pai Tong Thai is serving Thai cuisine for pick-up.

Old Town: Red Robe Tea House is offering online tea sales. Chen’s Good Taste is serving Chinese food for pick-up. Kiriko is offering clothing and accessories made from Japanese fabrics for purchase online.

Parkrose: Mekong Bistro is serving Cambodian cuisine for pick-up.
